Here a few ways to help your crews keep cool during these Summer months.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>1) Drink plenty of water\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>2) Wear protective clothing\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>3) Plan strenuous work on cooler days, if possible. If this is not possible, make sure there is plenty of help\u00a0<span class=\"text_exposed_show\">to give everyone a break.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"text_exposed_show\">4) Create some shade to work in and rest in\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"text_exposed_show\">5) Let new workers get acclimatized to the heat\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"text_exposed_show\">6) Know your sign &#8211; your body will tell you if you are low on water or getting too hot<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Headache<\/li>\n<li>Nausea<\/li>\n<li>Muscle cramps<\/li>\n<li>Cool moist skin with goosebumps when in heat<\/li>\n<li>Heavy sweating<\/li>\n<li>Faintness<\/li>\n<li>Dizziness<\/li>\n<li>Fatigue<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Always remember: drink plenty of water, do not overexert yourself, take frequent short breaks.
